Ramadan Countdown to Eid 2017!

Ramadan Countdown to Eid 2017!

Its that time again, Ramadan! The holy month full of blessings. My kids really look forward to counting down to Eid. They did it previous years and were so excited as soon as they come back from school, they asked if they could cross out the day. I’ve designed this printable so kids can ‘colour- in’ each day instead of crossing out the numbers. Its a great way to combine learning about numbers as well as using their fine motor skills. By the end of Ramadan, they’ll have a personalised colourful countdown to Eid!

Freebie Week 2 | DIY Printable Eid Lantern

Assalamualaikum my lovelies! Our Eid Lantern template 2016 is a little different to previous years. I decided to make it a bit more simplified to accommodate for our younger audience (under 3’s) as the usual lantern was a tad harder for them to construct.

You can still download my previous years Eid Lanterns below, they are more suitable for over 4’s as its a bit more complex in putting it together. I have included step by step photos to make your life easier :)

2013 Eid Lantern (Confetti: Lime, Yellow, Orange)

2014 Eid Lantern (Golden Marrakesh: Mint and Gold)

2015 Eid Lantern (Geo Scandi: Black and Pink)

If you’re planning to decorate your lanterns like how I’ve done in these photos, you will also need some coloured paper at home to print the template on, so it makes cutting a lot easier. I have attached a plain lantern template for you to download. I reckon alternating the sprinkles lantern with a plain coloured pastel lantern looks better visually as it breaks it up rather than having way too many sprinkles going in on your living room, right?! Haha!
